PDS' Response to COVID
PDS is required by law to follow any Federal, State, County, or City guidelines regarding COVID. In addition to that, we are consulting with a board-certified Infectious Disease physician to translate the CDC guidelines into contact-dance-focused protocol. At the end of the day, we recognize that there will always be some level of risk. PDS is focused on minimizing that risk as much as possible in a realistic, reasonable, and practical way.
These are the current planned guidelines that PDS will be executing until further notice. We will re-evaluate these guidelines as conditions change and as new information about COVID is released; these are simply the best guidelines for what we are experiencing at this time:
Full COVID-19 vaccinations will be required, boosters encouraged but not required. Proof of vaccination (card or photo of card) will be required upon entry.
Masks will be required while attending any PDS event, including hallways and any other indoor space. The following mask types are acceptable: cloth, surgical, N95, and KN95. Mesh masks and other porous masks will not be allowed.
No testing will be required to attend any PDS event.
PDS will be capping all attendance to 20 attendees. Please let us know if you will not be able to attend, so some other wanting dancers can attend!
DO NOT COME TO ANY PDS EVENT IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING ANY COVID-LIKE OR COLD-LIKE SYMPTOMS. If you are experiencing any COVID-like / cold-like symptoms, please stay home and notify us of your inability to attend.
Attending a PDS event while experiencing COVID-like / cold-like symptoms will result in immediate dismissal from the dance.
ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION

The Palouse Dance Society supports a positive dance community dynamic, and only directly hosts alcohol-free, drug-free, smoke-free, and aerial-free dance events.
Other events in the community may/may not contain this same standard; please bring up any concerns regarding event details with the individual organizer(s) of an event.
